About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Anatomy Professor to join our team at Flinders University. As a key member of our academic staff, you will play a vital role in advancing excellence in teaching and learning within the South Australia Rural Medical (SARM) Program.

Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality education across a range of medical topics, with particular emphasis on the fundamental disciplines of anatomy, pathology, and histology. You will be responsible for making an independent contribution to both teaching and the scholarship of teaching, including implementing innovative teaching practices and utilizing cutting-edge educational technologies to enhance student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver comprehensive anatomy curriculum for medical students
  • Mentor and supervise junior academics to ensure high-quality teaching and research
  • Publish scholarly articles and present at conferences to advance knowledge in anatomy and related fields
  • Contribute to the development of new courses and programs that align with the University's strategic priorities
