We are seeking a skilled Radiocommunications Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining telecommunications infrastructure statewide, installing and maintaining WCDMA/LTE/4G/5G/NBN technologies, and ensuring the efficient operation of radio base stations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and upgrade telecommunications infrastructure including earthing, cable trays, diplexers, and combiners.
  • Install and commission microwave indoor and outdoor units.
  • Configure and test Hand Over Packs (HOP's).
  • Troubleshoot, replace defective equipment, and monitor site performance.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Telecommunications or Engineering science, electronics, or microprocessors.
  • Equivalent experience as a telecommunications technician if no qualification is held.
  • Experience in installation, commissioning, and testing of Nokia and/or Ericsson equipment.
  • Current Working at Heights / Tower Rescue Ticket; First Aid and CPR.
  • Construction White Card.
  • Full Manual Driver's Licence.
  • Radhaz RF EME Awareness.
