Artificial Intelligence Solutions Architect

KPMG's Connected Technology Group (CTG) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our architecture and solution design resources, you will drive technology decisions to enable KPMG to deliver best-of-breed products to the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex solution architecture projects from conception to implementation, consulting with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into viable solutions.
- Spearhead the definition of CTG's technical strategies for domains you are responsible for, working closely with other CTG colleagues to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical capabilities.
- Create solution designs that explain the problem, the architecture, how the system works, key considerations for security and data privacy, and how it will be delivered.
- Conduct research into appropriate technologies and patterns to find the best technology solution among all possible to solve the business problem.
- Establish and provide ongoing maintenance of the CTG Architecture Repository, including contributing to strategic architecture roadmaps, design patterns, and domain architectures.
- Participate in architecture governance boards, setting architectural direction, and collaborating with R&D teams to prototype innovative solutions.
- Lead and mentor newer members of the SA Chapter, through participation in architecture review board and team showcase sessions, providing guidance and feedback to fellow architects on their designs.
- Mentor engineering teams on best practices, ensuring adherence to architectural blueprints and guiding implementation efforts.
- As part of our emerging AI practice, your role will be key to our ongoing success in this exciting space, working with the broader team to architect robust, scalable AI models and infrastructures, while effectively communicating design principles and strategic choices to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- You are able to build relationships quickly with many different stakeholders. You are articulate and intelligent, with solid communication skills.
- You have a proven ability to work autonomously, dealing with conflicting priorities and monitoring your own workload in a timely and effective manner.
- You have deep knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and related technologies, with a strong foundation in AI principles and applications.
- Comprehensive experience designing and implementing AI solutions, including expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and predictive analytics.
- Proficient with AI platforms and services from major cloud providers like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, including AI-specific tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with AI libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras, as well as programming skills relevant to AI, such as Python, R, or Scala.
