Job Description

Coles Supermarkets is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner and Trolley Collector to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring our stores provide a positive shopping experience for customers.

About the Role
  • This position involves working through a checklist of cleaning tasks throughout the store, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, and buffing floors, as well as cleaning shelves, refrigeration rooms, industrial ovens, and drains.
  • You will also be responsible for collecting trolleys from in and around the store and store carpark, regardless of the weather conditions.

About You and Your Skills

  • You will work both indoors and outdoors, requiring you to be trusted to work autonomously and in a group setting.
  • A commitment to providing great customer experiences by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace is essential.
  • A keen eye for detail and cleanliness is necessary, as well as a passion for working safely and adhering to Coles' Safe Work practices.
  • The ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and demonstrate a solid work ethic is required.
  • To be active and physically fit, you will be constantly on the go and lifting up to 17kgs.
  • Availability for a wide variety of shifts between 5am-11pm, 7 days per week, is also expected.
