Heavy Plant Operator\

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery including excavators and backhoes.

  • Safe operation and maintenance of heavy plant equipment
  • Carrying out work near underground and overhead services with care
  • Using attachments like laser levelling equipment for trenching and drainage
  • Assisting with set-out works, establishing lines and levels, and checking accuracy during projects
  • Maintaining small plant and hand tools safely

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A valid Class MR Driver Licence
  • Nationally accredited certificate or proven competency for LE – Excavator
  • Nationally accredited certificate for Work Near Overhead Powerlines
  • SafeWork accredited certificate for Traffic Controller
  • SafeWork approved High Risk Licence for DG – Dogging
