About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Data Engineer to lead our data engineering team and work with us to design, build and deliver leading data solutions.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a key role in shaping the future of our data engineering practice.

The successful candidate will have extensive consulting experience, a proven track record of building relationships with technical and business leaders, and deep knowledge of the modern data and cloud ecosystem.

They will be responsible for leading data projects and teams, playing a technical hands-on role as needed, driving further growth for the organisation, and supporting sales initiatives through technical customer demonstrations.

  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to mentor and coach our team members and clients, provide ongoing guidance and support to our broader data team, and establish and maintain relationships with clients.

You will be a self-motivated and hands-on individual who is adept at navigating ambiguity to find solutions, and who has excellent leadership and communication skills, confidence making presentations, strong influencing and negotiation skills, and the ability to handle objections and be persuasive when proposing solutions and products.
