Senior Quarry Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Quarry Manager to lead our Charlton site's day-to-day operations and drive success. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse team to achieve performance and profit targets while maintaining an uncompromising commitment to safety.

• Ultimate responsibility for ensuring the site's safety performance meets the highest standards.
• Driving production targets and optimizing extraction, production, and inventory planning.
• Providing strategic leadership to your team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Managing environmental compliance and quality control, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, delivering exceptional customer service.

• Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, P&L statements, and financial analysis.
• Strong leadership attributes, including good people management skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and influence diverse teams, driving successful outcomes.
• Relevant experience within quarry operations is desirable but not essential; manufacturing processes experience is highly valued.
