Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective ELICOS programs that meet the needs of students.
- Manage and monitor the day-to-day delivery of ELICOS programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and standards.
- Teach classes on a regular basis and cover teacher absences as needed.
- Recruit and manage ELICOS Centre staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs.
- Develop and manage formal and informal professional development programs for staff.
- Ensure student academic performance and satisfaction are maximized through effective teaching and support strategies.
- Solve problems and take prompt action on identified issues or queries.
- Create a positive and motivating learning environment that engages students and staff.
- Recognized undergraduate or postgraduate degree and TESOL qualifications.
- Familiarity with English File Edition 4.
- At least three years' experience in teaching and administration/management of ELICOS programs.
- Expertise in current digital teaching technologies and resources, curriculum and materials development.
- Experience using learning management and student management systems.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain flexible and agile to meet organizational needs.
- Strong management and interpersonal skills, including ability to engage, motivate, challenge, and performance manage staff and build positive relationships with students.
- Ability to assess student language skills and implement actions to address student learning needs.
This is a part-time position, with a contract length of 12 months. The expected hours of work are 20 per week, with a schedule of Monday to Friday. The pay rate is $40.00 - $60.00 per hour.
