Horseman Supervisor

Job Description:

A horseman is required to work in a thoroughbred racing industry environment.

Responsibilities include assisting the head foreman with daily operations, rostering and staff management, communicating with suppliers, liaising with owners, and race day strapping and saddling.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the thoroughbred racing industry, be able to work within a team environment, lead by example, and possess sound communication skills.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assisting the head foreman with the daily running of our 60-horse barn
• Assist with rostering and staff management
• Communicate with stable suppliers such as vets and farriers
• Liaise with owners
• Race day strapping and saddling is available
