We are seeking a highly skilled Spiritual Support Music Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Music Therapist at VMCH, you will provide music therapy services to support the spiritual, emotional, and psychological well-being of residents.

The role involves working closely with the pastoral care team to provide comprehensive care that integrates music therapy with spiritual support. You will ensure practice is in accordance with the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA) Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice and VMCH policies and guidelines.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Strong musical skills, including proficiency in playing multiple instruments
  • Proven ability to provide best practice music therapy assessment and service delivery, including assessment and development of comprehensive plans and report writing
