About the Role

Konekt is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Workplace Injury Prevention Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering workplace injury prevention, return to work, and disability support solutions that enable individuals and organisations to achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness
  • Support clients with chronic illness, injury, or disability to achieve independence and fulfill their goals
  • Help clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications, and interests
  • Perform activities of daily living assessments and recommend assistive technology under a range of contracts
  • Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite and ergonomic assessments
  • Complete workplace modifications assessments under the National Panel of Assessors contract (requires minimum two years disability employment experience)
  • Administer standardized assessment tools
  • Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate, and monitor your client's progress toward their return to work or life goal
  • Engage with key stakeholders and build strong relationships to facilitate the achievement of business objectives
