Test Specialist

  • We are seeking a skilled Test Specialist to play a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our platform solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting tests across all configuration changes, designing and developing test automation scripts, and collaborating closely with development teams and client teams. The role involves analyzing user stories and use cases, identifying potential issues with platform configuration, and providing timely solutions for defects identified.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing and executing all levels of testing of all configurations changes in Development and SIT Environments
  • Designing and developing test automation where possible
  • Detecting, raising and tracking software defects and inconsistencies to closure
  • Providing Testing support and documentation in Azure DevOps

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT preferred
  • Australian citizenship and possession of or willingness to obtain and maintain a Baseline personnel security clearance
  • At least 2-4 years' experience in a testing position
  • Ability to research and write up a project-related brief
  • Automated testing desirable
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, JIRA or similar tools
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to see the big picture
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in document and report writing
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Awareness of Software Development Life Cycle
