About the Role

HammondCare At Home is expanding its services and seeking permanent part-time Specialised Carers to provide support to clients across various regions. As a Specialised Carer, you will play a vital role in helping older people live independently in their homes and directly improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing essential and practical care to clients, including personal care, meal preparation, and light house cleaning.
  • Assisting with transportation to appointments and shopping.
  • Helping with medication and other daily tasks.

Requirements

  • Relating to people and being patient and solutions-focused.
  • Previous experience in aged or community care or a willingness to start a career in aged care.
  • A valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car.
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or a willingness to obtain one).
  • Flexibility in meeting the changing needs of home care clients.

Benefits

  • $29.56 to $32.45 per hour plus 99c/km + paid travel time + mobile phone provided.
  • Full training given to all Care Workers, no experience necessary.
  • Secure employment on a 14-day perm part-time roster.
