About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Suncorp Group. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our Docs & Notices (D&N) Platform, working closely with our existing squad to document requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the squad to document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently.
  • Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
  • Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks where applicable.
  • Create detailed user stories (in JIRA) to support delivery.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' Senior Business Analyst experience working on large multi-year programs.
  • Extensive Docs & Notices (SmartCOMM + Scriptura) or Customer Comms (CCM) experience required.
  • Background in Insurance or financial services desired.
  • Strong facilitation skills including providing change management collateral e.g. presentations/packs.
  • Agile experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation.
  • Must be able to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions to meet those requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various stakeholders.
  • Must be able to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines.
  • Jira and Confluence skills essential.
