Job Description

As a Critical Facilities Engineer - Controls, you will play an integral part in ensuring optimal performance within our data centers. This role is crucial to our teams moving towards the future, and we are looking to strengthen our campus, which includes 5 sites in close proximity.

The Facilities Engineer - Controls is responsible for supervising and performing facilities engineering work, including programming, alarm response, fault finding, maintenance, repairs, and modification of equipment relating to controls, electrical, mechanical systems, and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding across disciplines and broad experience programming and configuration commissioning, including but not limited to experience with Tridium, JACE, AVEVA (Wonderware), Rockwell PLC. Proven experience with data collection and conversion software will be highly regarded, as will exposure to DDC, PLC, DCS debugging and programming.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring, operating, and programming controls systems, with the ability to understand and implement controls strategies and architecture
  • Project experience will be highly regarded
  • Collaborating with a team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Leading a small team or working with multiple vendors
  • Problem-solving and thinking on their feet
  • 3+ years of experience post-trade or degree with relevant experience
  • Mechatronics/Controls related trade cert or University certifications
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills/Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
