Your Opportunity

We are seeking to further grow our systems safety and nuclear engineering capability. We are looking for experienced professionals with nuclear safety expertise, particularly in the naval nuclear sector. Those with broader naval nuclear experience are also invited to apply.

Our work is spread across diverse industries, including defence, healthcare, energy production, and transport infrastructure. We work with our clients to refine their needs and support them in delivering and assuring solutions that are fit for purpose, deliver safety, and are environmentally compliant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of safety cases for nuclear facilities and systems.
  • Conduct safety assessments and risk analyses for nuclear-related projects.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols for nuclear operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of project delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on nuclear safety matters.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Bachelor of Engineering/Science Degree (or equivalent depth of training).
  • A minimum of 5 years nuclear-related experience (essential).
  • Have (or be eligible for) UK or Australian security clearance (essential).
  • Safety and assurance knowledge and experience (Highly regarded).
  • Previous Defence maritime experience (Highly regarded).
  • Systems engineering knowledge and experience (desirable).
  • Chartered Engineer Status (desirable).
  • Excellent client management/stakeholder engagement skills (or the aptitude to learn).
  • Consultancy experience (desirable, but not essential).
