We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Plant Equipment and Heavy Vehicle Fleet Service Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring mobile asphalt equipment and heavy vehicles meet safety standards, maintaining equipment according to company requirements, and performing a combination of workshop and field-based tasks.
- Work independently and consult with operational teams on prioritization of tasks.
- Ensure all relevant permits and safety paperwork is in place before commencement of tasks.
- Supervise contractors and labour onsite.
- Monitor plant equipment for any defects, utilising our maintenance system.
- Undertake equipment assessments and reviews, developing improvement plans.
Key Requirements:
- Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic or Heavy Diesel Mechanic qualification.
- HR License (desirable).
- Strong written and verbal communications skills and a safety-first focus.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
