About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Airside Team Member to join our team at dnata catering. As a key member of our airside operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our catering services to airlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marshall and Positioning: Work with the Driver to position catering trucks to aircraft in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks with carts, ovens, and standard units, ensuring efficient and safe handling of equipment.
  • Catering Equipment Preparation: Prepare and pack catering equipment, including carts and ovens, for delivery to aircraft.
  • Flight and Delivery Management: Prepare, pack, and check off completed flights and deliveries at the kitchen production unit.
  • Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic serviceability and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Cleaning and Administration: Perform general cleaning duties and administrative documentation and reporting tasks as required.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including drivers, kitchen staff, and airline representatives, to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Aviation Security Clearance: Possession or ability to attain an Aviation Security Identification Card.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to accommodate flight schedules.
  • Manual Handling and Physical Demands: Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying, and pushing heavy equipment.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
