The Role

You'll be a key member of the Data Enablement stream within ANZx, responsible for designing and implementing dynamic data solutions to support various use cases.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Create an automated and scalable data platform in the cloud.
  • Develop supporting systems for our data solutions, including user interfaces, APIs, developer tooling, and shared libraries.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the applications you develop during business hours.

A Day in Your Life

You'll work in an agile framework with a team of engineers to deliver data solutions, including:

  • Designing applications that facilitate data mesh implementation, encompassing tasks such as data product registration, metadata management, and data ingestion, transformation, and consumption.
  • Executing cloud infrastructure automation, streamlining development processes, and enhancing data mesh implementation innovatively.
  • Billing optimized data solutions with considerations for security and data governance.
  • Building data pipelines and real-time data ecosystems to provide interactive customer experiences, feeding data into other systems via multiple interface types.
  • Following and contributing to data architecture standards for applications and infrastructure across the team.

Requirements

  • Candidates should have experience with cloud-based data and software engineering using object-oriented programming (OOP) in at least one programming language.
  • Proven success in building user interfaces and improving user experience.
  • Positive outcomes working with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and business teams.
  • Interest in technology and passion to learn.
