Job Title

Secure Infrastructure Delivery Expert

Downer is seeking a skilled professional to design, build and support secure application infrastructure. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering scalable, high-performing solutions that support critical business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build and maintain secure application infrastructure using Microsoft Azure, Windows and SQL Server technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable technology solutions aligned with project priorities.
  • Monitor and optimize database and application performance, ensuring compliance with IT policies.
  • Manage operational technology systems and underlying server infrastructure.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, training and change management processes are maintained.
Requirements:
  • Proven capability in Microsoft Azure, Windows Server and SQL Server technologies.
  • Strong understanding of VMware and Hyper-V virtualisation platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver secure and scalable technology solutions in complex environments.
  • Proficiency in cryptography, PowerShell scripting and system integration.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
