Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Support Analyst to join our team. This is a key technical support role within a globally recognised organisation undertaking a large manufacturing program of works.

Your experience will include working with 3D CAD systems on large engineering projects, understanding of the Detailed Design process, and experience in using ITIL framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing support to users of primary 3D modelling and 2D drawing software
  • Good problem solving skills to identify root cause of issues and develop resolution to software issues
  • Raising issues with vendors
  • Configuration of the CAD system to support business requirements
  • Develop and document processes and procedures in conjunction with end users to maximise benefit from Engineering tools
  • Script development
  • Work closely with Business Analysts to develop solutions
  • Interaction with Projects personnel for modelling requirements definition
  • Creation of training course materials and training delivery
  • Assist with the definition of CAD software enhancement requirement
  • User Access management
  • Assess new versions of the Engineering software from the supplier for benefits to the business
Requirements
  • 2 years' experience in CAD (preferred)
  • Australia work authorisation
