Metallurgical Technician Role

Australian Minmet Metallurgical Laboratories Pty Ltd is a leading provider of metallurgical services to the mining industry. Our laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a team of experienced professionals.

We are seeking a skilled Metallurgical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and handling samples for testing
  • Assisting in the preparation of samples for assay and mineralogy
  • Conducting particle size classification and wet and dry sieving
  • Operating hydrocyclones and optical laser sizing equipment
  • Providing assistance in other metallurgical tasks as required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 3+ years experience working in a mineral processing laboratory
  • Strong numeracy, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from supervisors
  • Flexibility to work variable hours and shifts
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
