About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lactation Consultant to join our team at Monash Health, providing assessment, education, and support to mothers and their babies in our Maternity Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality lactation education and support to mothers and their families
  • Assess and address breastfeeding challenges and concerns
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve breastfeeding outcomes
  • Develop and implement evidence-based lactation programs and services
  • Conduct audits and evaluations to ensure lactation services are efficient and effective
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications, including IBLCE certification
  • Proven experience in lactation education and support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
