Senior Paralegal

The Senior Paralegal will provide critical support to the General Counsel & Company Secretary in maintaining sound corporate governance and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

This role offers flexibility, with options for full-time or part-time work, and hybrid work arrangements. The successful candidate will be based in Allambie Heights, with opportunities to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain effective legal and compliance registers, ensuring timely reporting to the Board.
• Manage and coordinate requests for client record access and subpoenas, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
• Raise awareness and support internal stakeholders in managing privacy compliance obligations, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to manage legal risk, providing expert advice and guidance as needed.

• Proven experience working in a law firm or corporate legal department, with a strong understanding of corporate governance and compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Diligence and rigorous attention to detail, with the ability to manage simultaneous projects and deliverables.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, while also working autonomously and escalating issues as necessary.
