Health Clerk Job Opportunity

The Defence organisation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Clerk to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing administrative duties efficiently and maintaining patient privacy and ensuring compliance with medical-in-confidence and staff-in-confidence standards.

  • Maintaining electronic and hard copy health records, database, and information management systems.
  • Communicating with internal and external customers to obtain patient information as required.
About You

The ideal applicant will have at least 12 months of part-time or full-time experience in an administrative role, experience working in a clinical support role or medical reception, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and demonstrated ability to work in a customer service focused environment.

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team to support the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality care to patients.
  • Experience in maintaining accurate and up-to-date record keeping in a clinical environment.
  • Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Baseline Security Clearance.
