Leadership Opportunity in Nuclear Engineering and Project Management

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Program Manager Engineer to oversee and manage nuclear projects. This role involves strategic planning, technical leadership, and stakeholder coordination to ensure the successful execution of nuclear-related initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute nuclear programs that align with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure adherence to nuclear safety and environmental regulations.
  • Provide expert guidance on nuclear engineering principles, safety procedures, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and research institutions.
  • Identify and address potential risks in nuclear operations to enhance safety and performance.
  • Optimize resources and ensure cost-effective project execution.
  • Drive innovation in nuclear technology, exploring advancements in reactor design, fuel systems, and safety protocols.
  • Supervise engineering teams, providing mentorship, technical support, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
  • 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in nuclear engineering, project management, or a related field. Proven leadership in nuclear programs with demonstrated expertise in reactor operations, nuclear fuel systems, or radiation safety.
  • Knowledge of nuclear reactor systems, radiation protection principles, and thermodynamics.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and simulation tools such as MATLAB, ANSYS, or nuclear-specific modeling software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Leadership and decision-making aptitude in high-stakes environments.
