About the Role:

This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that transforms raw ingredients into high-quality sugar and molasses.

  • Sweet Systems: Our ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality raw sugar and molasses with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Collaboration Crew: The successful applicant will work effectively with Mill management, Pan Boilers, and Shift Team to ensure seamless production.
  • Data Detective: Regular sampling, inspection, and analysis of sugar and molasses streams are crucial to this role.
  • Housekeeping Hero: Maintaining exceptional housekeeping practices around the fugal station is essential for a safe work environment.
  • Efficiency Enforcer: Routine inspections of plant, equipment, and maintenance requests will be performed by the selected candidate.
  • Accuracy in Action: Completing logbooks, charts, and data collection as directed by management is a key aspect of this position.

As a Fugal Operator, you must be an excellent communicator and possess basic maintenance skills. We are willing to provide training to individuals with the right aptitude and team fit.

Requirements:
  • Working at Heights
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Trade qualifications or experience in maintenance skills such as Rigger, Dogger, Scaffolder, or High Risk Work Licences (desirable).
