About the Opportunity

Micromine Australia is seeking a highly skilled Mining Engineer to join their team in Perth. As a key member of the Micromine underground product suite, you will play a leading role in delivering world-class underground mine planning solutions to our growing customer base.

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working alongside business development managers to identify and develop opportunities within key accounts.
  • Delivering technical aspects of our solution selling process, including client demonstrations, technical input into sales proposals, model builds, training, and support.
  • Collaborating with customers to ensure the software is being used to its full potential during implementation.

About You

We are looking for a Mining Engineer with a strong operational background and hands-on experience using underground mining software. Your key skills and qualifications include:

  • Site-based experience in an UG mine production or operational planning role.
  • Experience in the development, implementation, and support of UG mine planning and scheduling systems.
  • Technical consulting or pre-sales experience is highly advantageous.
  • A recognized tertiary earth science or engineering qualification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
