Nurse Specialist - Recovery Care

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse Specialist to join our Recovery team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, focusing on the recovery of patients after treatment.

You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the healthcare team. This will involve working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have recent acute care experience and possess excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. They will also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Effective interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Recent acute care experience
  • Australian working rights
