Culinary Artist Opportunity

About the Role

This position is for a skilled Culinary Artist who can contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As part of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and producing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation and production for various services including breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, banquets, and buffets.
  • Maintain clean, hygienic, and organized work environments to ensure efficiency and adherence to HACCP standards.
  • Ensure timely performance of tasks to guarantee high guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate on stock rotation and control processes to minimize waste and maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards.
  • Create consistently high-quality dishes that showcase culinary artistry and adhere to our standards.
  • Liaise with kitchen teams regarding special requests or delayed meals/production.
Requirements

  • Creativity and passion for learning.
  • Previous experience in fast-paced kitchens or banquet environments.
  • Technical knowledge of various cooking techniques and styles.
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety principles.
  • Food Safety Certificate is essential.
  • Flexibility to work on rotating rosters, including morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.
