Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Privacy Officer. This critical position is responsible for ensuring our operations meet all legal and regulatory standards, thereby supporting our global growth and maintaining client trust.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regulatory Compliance Monitoring: Assist in implementing and monitoring privacy-related compliance programs to ensure adherence to applicable regulations and group policies.
  • Privacy Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential areas of non-compliance or compliance risks and provide practical advice for mitigation.
  • Compliance Documentation and Reporting: Lead the preparation of privacy-specific documentation and reports, including Records of Processing Activities (RoPAs), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and any other records required to comply with privacy requirements.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop region-specific privacy training programs and materials to educate staff on privacy matters.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in-region Data Protection Officers (DPOs) and Privacy Officers in managing and responding to regulatory inquiries or audits.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in privacy law, data protection, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR, DORA, Australian Privacy Act, and Principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
