Regional Defence Operations Director

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering leadership and overseeing operational management across multiple defence bases within the region.
This role is a key position that requires effective communication, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for staff, ensuring timely and accurate incident notifications and maintaining strong communication channels.
- Providing direction and oversight for all operational activities across multiple bases, ensuring alignment with regional objectives.
- Conducting financial reviews to monitor budgets, expenditures, and financial performance, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Overseeing regular performance reviews to assess operational efficiency, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary adjustments.
- Ensuring all operational activities comply with relevant regulations, policies, and safety standards.
- Providing leadership, support, and development opportunities to the operations team to foster a high-performing workforce.
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to support operational goals and objectives.
- Leading continuous improvement activities to enhance operational processes, increase efficiency, and ensure best practices are followed.
