The Linkforce Communications Division
The Linkforce Communications division specializes in the construction and installation of communication towers and wireless telecommunication equipment installation and commissioning. We are currently seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Telecommunications Installation Specialists.
The Role
As a Telecommunications Installation Specialist, you will assist with the construction of communication towers. Initially, these are assembled in our workshop, then transported and erected on site. Your duties will include:
- Completing As-built, Hand-Over documents, and detailed Design/Construction Packs
- Performing rigging and dogging works for various size cranes and loads
- Underground conduit installation, concrete works, and foundation excavation
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing external telecommunications equipment
- Installing, maintaining, and upgrading of telecommunications headframes and tower steelwork
- Construction of telecommunications structures
About You
We are seeking candidates with sound rigging experience, ideally with exposure to the communications industry. Alternatively, we will consider those with relevant trades experience that may be looking to switch industries. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Confident and comfortable working at heights
- Construction trade backgrounds, such as plumbers, carpenters, roof plumbers, and glaziers is advantageous
- Rigger with a WorkSafe High-Risk Work Licence - RB, RI, or RA
- Construction White Card
- Australian Drivers Licence – C Class
- Work at Heights Certificate
