The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, tax compliance, risk management, and internal control.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and reports to ensure accurate financial representation.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting principles and internal financial policies and procedures.
  • Provide strategic financial planning and analysis to support senior management decision-making.
  • Coordinate audit processes and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee tax compliance, tax planning, filing of tax returns, and handling of tax audits.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal control systems to minimize risks.
  • Lead and manage a team of finance professionals to achieve organizational goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with 5 years in senior financial management role in banking and financial services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting standards, principles, and practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of finance professionals.
