Software Solutions Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Software Solutions Strategist to join our Software Sales team in Australia.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will work closely with Australian software companies to develop and execute strategies that drive business growth and innovation on AWS. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new opportunities, and providing expert guidance on AWS services and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with customers to accelerate their business outcomes and recommend AWS products and services in line with business needs.
- Drive solution discussions with customers, diving deep into details to solve complex challenges.
- Work backwards from customer business needs to accelerate adoption of most appropriate AWS services.
- As a trusted advisor, use interpersonal skills to influence various stakeholders from technical teams to executives and ensure short-term technology decisions align with long-term goals.
- Help define strategy by engaging and partnering with highly technical teams (Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, AWS professional services consultants, and consulting/managed services partners).
- Act as a thought leader in wider community, playing key role in educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers, blogs, and running workshops.
The Software team focuses on Australian software companies who produce, maintain, and distribute software. Our customers are business-to-business providers who generate revenue through software license sales or SaaS subscriptions.

Requirements- 4+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience.
- 4+ years of business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management experience.
- Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans.
- Proven track record of consistent territory growth and quota obtainment.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including health insurance, superannuation, and paid annual leave.
