We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatrician Specialist to join our team at CC Medical. As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will provide specialist care to children in our hospital and regional communities, while contributing to postgraduate education and research.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide specialist care to children in our hospital and regional communities.
  2. Conduct regular inpatient ward rounds and outpatient sessions, incorporating supervision and teaching of junior staff.
  3. Participate in provision of specialist outreach paediatric services to regional hospitals and/or remote communities.
  4. Collaborate with other medical, nursing, and allied health colleagues to review and revise policies, procedures and guidelines in line with national and international recommendations.
  5. Foster a positive workplace culture through exemplary leadership practices and role modelling behaviour.
About the Hospital

Our hospital has 360 beds, servicing a diverse population of over 140,000. We are a teaching hospital and are co-located with the Private Hospital.

Requirements
  1. Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  2. Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and skills appropriate for general paediatric care.
  3. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact positively in a team and in a cross-cultural work environment.
  4. Flexibility: an ability to work in a complex and unpredictable environment.
  5. A demonstrated interest in and commitment to improving Indigenous health.
