Job Overview

This leadership position involves leading the financial accounting function to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with relevant accounting standards, and adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' experience in financial accounting, audit or commercial environment, tertiary qualifications in accounting, and strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Reporting & Compliance: Manage monthly and statutory reporting, oversee revenue recognition and strengthen financial controls and policies.
  • Internal Recovery & Asset Management: Oversee internal recovery processes, Capex lifecycle, and fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy, compliance and process improvement.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Inspire and develop a high-performing finance team, promote accountability and growth, and collaborate on recruitment and people initiatives.
  • Collaboration & Culture: Foster a supportive, transparent team environment, encourage innovation and drive continuous improvement across finance operations.
