Job Role: Beam Saw Operator

The primary responsibilities of this role include operating Beam Saw machines to perform cut-to-size tasks, preparing and loading raw materials and parts onto the machines, and supervising the machines while they execute tasks.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Loading and unloading materials from Homag and Biesse CNC machinery.
  • Preparing Beam Saw machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large numbers of parts.
  • Inspecting and measuring finished products to determine if the process has been completed properly.
  • Maintaining machinery daily to ensure functionality.

Essential Requirements:

  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and contractors.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possession of a current NSW driving licence.
