About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Uniting. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and companionship to older people living in their own homes in the Lismore area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
  • Assist clients with household tasks, such as housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
  • Transport clients to appointments and social events, using your own car.
  • Engage with clients in social and wellbeing activities, such as outings and Healthy Living for Seniors programs.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience providing client-centred care, preferably in a home care setting.
  • Current First Aid certificate.
  • Driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
