Role Overview

The role of Senior Associate in a Private Clients practice is a unique opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join a market-leading team based in Perth.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual with a genuine interest in contributing to the success and growth of a top private clients practice. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in estate litigation or general commercial litigation and be proactive, able to work autonomously and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be involved in matters including large-scale and high-profile estate disputes in both the Supreme Court of WA and the Court of Appeal, including multi-jurisdictional estates.

About You

  • You will ideally have between 5 and 9 years of experience in estate, wills and trust disputes within a large national law firm or a specialist wills and estates practice.
  • Experience in the day-to-day management of files, and in running matters through court proceedings is also required.
  • Excellent technical, analytical and drafting skills with a keen attention to detail are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also necessary.
  • Experience in, and a willingness to, supervise and mentor junior members of the team is desirable.
