Support Worker

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team in The Vale. This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity, with the team delivering housing related support in the area.

The ideal candidate will have energy, enthusiasm, integrity, and the ability to treat people with dignity and respect. They will be reliable, a great communicator, both verbally and in writing, and have basic IT and numerical skills.

  • Job Description:
  • Deliver housing related support to individuals in need, including assistance with budgeting, rent arrears, accessing grants, and help to set up their tenancy.
  • Work flexibly as part of a team to develop, implement, and review support plans based on individual needs, preferences, and aspirations.
  • Liaise with external agencies, such as DWP, Social Services, Health Services, Probation, substance misuse, and mental health services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Energy, enthusiasm, integrity, and the ability to treat people with dignity and respect.
  • Reliability and a commitment to being punctual and consistent.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic IT and numerical skills.
