About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Test Analyst to join our team at FinXL IT Professional Services. As a Junior Test Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute manual software testing strategies to identify defects and improve overall product quality.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases and test plans to ensure thorough testing coverage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and product management, to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Communicate testing results and defects to stakeholders, including development teams and product owners.
  • Participate in the development of testing processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Experience in manual software testing and a strong understanding of testing methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate testing results and defects to stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex testing issues.
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
  • A proactive attitude and strong work ethic, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
