About Us

Balanseenviro specialises in the design, construction and management of wetland, riparian and revegetation projects, ecological restoration and aquatic environments in Greater Melbourne and Greater Geelong.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist other crew members and leaders to perform work tasks in a safe manner and to a professional standard
  • Behave to the standards set by your crew members and leaders
  • Work cooperatively and collaboratively in a team environment, communicate clearly, and ask questions when clarification is required
  • Follow work task instructions from the Project Manager/Supervisor and other leaders
Selection Criteria

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated experience in environmental tasks such as revegetation works, planting, hand weeding, brush cutting, landscaping, and chainsaw work
  • Herbicide application, backpack and target weed control
  • Ability to identify indigenous and exotic flora species

Required:

  • Driver's licence and ideally own vehicle
  • Construction White Card required
  • A genuine interest in native plants and landscapes
  • Practical work experience, manual labour
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Desire to work outdoors all year round
  • Organised, goal-orientated and efficient work attitude
  • Ability to motivate yourself and others
  • Respectful and professional behaviour, appreciating individual differences
