Are you ready to shape the future of our IT landscape? We are seeking a Global Infrastructure Director to lead cutting-edge projects and drive technological advancements on a global scale.

Your Role:

You will take charge of designing and managing internal and customer-facing infrastructure and technology systems. Your deep technical expertise across cloud, DevOps, cybersecurity, systems engineering, and advanced networking domains will empower you to develop highly innovative solutions ensuring resilience, security, and scalability.

Based in Sydney, you will collaborate with a global network of technology experts, engaging directly with senior business leaders to align architectural vision with strategic business goals. This role offers the chance to apply your technological curiosity and creativity in ways that push boundaries and create real impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and Implement Large-Scale Solutions: Design and deploy scalable, resilient, and secure cloud and on-prem architectures across multiple platforms to support global operations.
  • Optimize Network Performance and Automation: Spearhead initiatives to enhance network performance, automate infrastructure management, and drive efficiencies in data centres and cloud environments using modern tools & technologies.
  • Drive Enterprise-Wide Technology Strategy: Lead the development and execution of an enterprise-wide technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and leveraging the latest advancements in cloud, data centre, and automation technologies.

Leadership in Innovation and Collaboration: Mentor and guide cross-functional teams of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence while engaging with senior stakeholders to communicate architectural strategies and drive technology adoption.

Qualifications and Experience:

You should have 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, cloud engineering, and network management, with a demonstrated ability to lead at scale in a complex, global environment.

  • Proven track record in designing and implementing enterprise-scale architectures, with deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data centre technologies.
  • Extensive experience with automation tools and scripting languages, as well as a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Expert-level knowledge of network engineering, including WAN/LAN architecture, SDN, VPNs, firewalls, and security protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transformation projects, collaborating with diverse teams and engaging with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives.
