About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Coach to join our team at TRY Australia. As a Practice Coach, you will play a critical role in supporting our early childhood education services to deliver high-quality programs and services to children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to early childhood educators to enhance their skills and knowledge in delivering high-quality programs and services.
  • Support service leaders and educators to develop and implement School Readiness Funding plans that meet the needs of children and families.
  • Collaborate with the Quality, Practice and Programs Department to ensure that our services are meeting the National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service providers and stakeholders to ensure that our services are meeting the needs of children and families.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care, preferably at Bachelor or above level, and VIT registration.
  • Extensive and recent experience as an Early Childhood Teacher with strong knowledge of early year learning frameworks and National Quality Standards.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).
  • Completion of Coach and Mentor Training Program or Effective Mentor Program or similar (desirable).
  • Proven leadership skills to effectively coach and empower groups of people.
  • Creative and proficient in using remote communication tools with educators, families, and associated service providers.
  • Own car and driver's license essential.
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to positively influence through effective engagement, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • An approach to work that is flexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to change.
