About the Role

As an Education and Learning Consultant, you will work closely with the school community to provide consultancy, advice, assessment, counselling, and guidance to students and their parents from Kindergarten to Year 12.

This is a rewarding opportunity to utilize your psychological expertise in education and learning to support and build the capacity of the school community. To be successful in this role, you will need to be registered or have provisional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), eligible to hold a current membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS), or have formal counselling qualifications and experience.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as demonstrated experience working within an educational setting, with children and adolescents, and with parents/caregivers. Additionally, they will have demonstrated clinical experience, knowledge of assessment instruments and interventions, and understanding of how children and adolescents learn and the relevant developmental stages.

Job Description Overview

This is a full-time position that requires working hours of Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. However, there may be occasions when out-of-hours student support is required.
