Surgical Nurse Position at Gold Coast Private Hospital

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Nurse to join our team at Gold Coast Private Hospital. As a member of our surgical team, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
About the Role:This permanent part-time position offers 64 hours per fortnight, working across a 30-bed surgical ward with a diverse case mix. You will be responsible for delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care, providing complex and multi-disciplinary care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support patient needs.
Responsibilities:- Deliver High-Quality Patient Care: Provide individualized care to patients, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being throughout their hospital stay.
- Work Collaboratively: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain Safe Practice: Act as a role model for safe practice, adhering to hospital policies and procedures, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices in nursing care.
- Nursing Registration: Current registration with AHPRA (no restrictions)
- Experience: Minimum 12 months acute surgical experience
- Clinical Skills: Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, sound clinical decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
