About the Role:

The Membership Director at Fitness First is responsible for leading the member experience team to achieve sales targets and member retention budgets. They oversee front desk operations to ensure exceptional, personalized service to our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily workflow of the member experience team to ensure the club reaches monthly sales targets.
  • Achieve individual monthly and annual sales targets to contribute to the team's success.
  • Create a structure to ensure the member experience team achieves their daily minimum performance criteria.
  • Assist with the delivery of sales training to develop the member experience team.
  • Achieve member retention and growth budgets on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure that member inquiries are responded to within 24 hours.
  • Support the Club and Regional Manager in developing initiatives to drive membership growth.
  • Support the Club Manager in developing the member experience team's fortnightly roster.

About You:

  • Demonstrate proven sales and customer service experience with a clear ability to hit KPIs.
  • Have an understanding of the sales cycle and various sales techniques, including up-selling and cross-selling.
  • Have previous experience managing the customer journey to achieve successful customer outcomes, with an understanding of customer retention strategies and metrics.
  • Have previous experience managing and mentoring a team.
  • Be able to set and motivate others towards a goal.
  • Have experience using business computer systems.
  • Hold current First Aid and CPR certificates.
