Network Transformation Project Manager

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Network Engineer to lead a global network transformation project in the mining sector.

This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will design, deploy, and manage complex network architectures across multiple sites, ensuring seamless connectivity and security.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy a multi-site WAN across various locations worldwide.
  • Implement and manage DMVPN, BGP, and QoS configurations.
  • Define and maintain network architecture, encompassing routing, security, and connectivity.
  • Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls (PAN-OS, Panorama, GlobalProtect).
  • Produce clear and concise documentation.
  • Participate in after-hours change management as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong hands-on expertise with DMVPN, BGP, and QoS.
  • In-depth knowledge of Palo Alto Networks technologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues across diverse environments.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to remote mining sites.
  • Experience with Megaport and/or SD-WAN technologies.

The successful candidate will be based at our headquarters and will visit remote mining sites approximately every 2 months for 2–4 days. All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered.
