Early Childhood Educator Role

Are you a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood professional seeking a new challenge? We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team in Southern Suburbs Brisbane. As an Early Childhood Teacher at our centre, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children aged 0-5 years.

This is a permanent full-time or part-time role that offers competitive salary package, paid parental leave, discounted childcare fees, and other benefits. To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification, current Working with Children Check, and First Aid certification. You will also need strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build positive relationships with families and colleagues.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement high-quality early childhood programs that meet the needs of children, families, and the centre community.
  • Build strong relationships with families, ensuring they feel supported and informed about their child's education and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop, review, and implement educational policies and procedures that align with state and national guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and incidents.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved).
  • Working with Children Check: Current Qld Working with Children Check.
  • First Aid: Current First Aid qualification.
